Outpatient Dialysis Nurse

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Outpatient Registered Nurse. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document patient responses and outcomes.
- Conduct ongoing education and training for patients and their families to promote self-management and independence.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
- Supervise and mentor Patient Care Technicians and other nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license.
- Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on chronic/acute hemodialysis.
- Current CPR BLS Certification and ability to meet state practice requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
