Medical Assistant Opportunity at Southeast Primary Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Southeast Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient care activities, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing routine specimen collection and tests.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls.
  • Work closely with our primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program at time of hire (with certification), or within 180 days of employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
