Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Vehicles to Industry Standards: Perform thorough inspections and quality repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable for revenue service.
  • Perform Maintenance Inspections and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance inspections and repairs on assigned vehicles and equipment to ensure they meet contractual requirements and company standards.
  • Operate in a Safe and Efficient Manner: Perform all maintenance duties in a safe and efficient cost-effective manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Maintain technical competency on assigned equipment and vehicles and actively engage in ongoing training and development programs offered by the company.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Degree or equivalent required. Graduation from an approved program at a technical school is a plus. Prior experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Maintenance Technician and/or prior experience with heavy fleet vehicles is preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess or willing to obtain all applicable ASE certifications. A valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License, depending on the location's hiring needs, with Passenger Endorsement if responsible for operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 passengers or more.
