Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Monro Muffler Brake. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the efficient diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of guest vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, and scheduled maintenance on guest vehicles
  • Secure guest approval for repairs and maintain a clean, neat work area
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections and perform repairs and maintenance
  • Test drive guest vehicles and use shop trucks safely
  • Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership to General Service Technicians

Requirements:

  • High school or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic set of automotive tools or participation in tool purchase program
  • Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs
  • Guest and team-focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASE automotive certification in at least one of A1-A8
  • Automotive Technician State Inspector License
  • Automotive technical school certificate/degree
