Job Description:

Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. As an EMT, you will provide patient care in emergency and non-emergency situations, ensuring compliance with all state EMS rules and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care according to company protocols and medical director-approved standing orders.
  • Ensure ambulance and equipment are clean and in proper working condition.
  • Complete patient care reports, billing, and other necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • EMT-Basic certification in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as an EMT or in a similar medical role.
  • Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
