Internship Opportunity in Mechanical Engineering at Qualcomm

Qualcomm is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as Mechanical Engineering Interns. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components
  • Conduct research and analysis to improve the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. degree program in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 1+ years' academic experience with programming languages such as Python, Matlab
  • Must be available for 11 – 14 weeks during Summer 2025

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Cadence Sip, AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • Coursework in Solid Mechanics, Mechanics of Materials and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Knowledge in Mechanical design, heat transfer, microelectronics device
