Job Description and Duties
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at a correctional facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to inmates, including preadmission screenings, psychological evaluations, crisis intervention, individual therapy, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
The Psychologist will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, participate in interdisciplinary team evaluations, and consult with the psychiatrist, nursing staff, and other professionals as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology and an earned Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
Working Conditions
The position requires travel and may involve working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Special Requirements
The candidate must undergo a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment.
