Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you will assist with direct patient care, nutrition, observation, documentation, transportation, and general maintenance of the patient environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, patient transfers, and wound care.
- Provide nutrition and hydration support, including meal service and snack distribution.
- Observe and document patient activity, tolerance, elimination, and nutrition.
- Transport patients to and from various areas of the hospital, including radiology and therapy departments.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste.
- CNA license in good standing.
- 6 months of experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Nurse Technician in an acute care setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of basic nursing practices and principles of body mechanics.
