Job Description:

Candidate will assist the insurance department with various tasks, including running benefits and gathering documents to submit authorizations for commercial insurance. The individual will check the status of pending authorizations daily and conduct patient chart audits to ensure accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in obtaining prior authorization for new and existing patients
  • Collect data and establish facts to draw conclusions and solve problems
  • Maintain current files and records according to CSI Pharmacy instructions
  • Coordinate with Intake personnel and assist with work duties

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required; college or technical college preferred
  • Minimum one year experience in pharmacy or healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors

Estimated Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on location).
