Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine, and checking for possible interactions.
  • Process prescriptions, including registering sales on assigned cash registers, collecting cash, and distributing change as requested.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including keeping counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records.
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information.
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
