Job Summary

This is a key role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the highest level of quality and service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Supervise and Coordinate Quality Assurance Activities**: Oversee the daily operations in the Quality Assurance, Cheese and Janitorial departments for all shifts, ensuring that all quality assurance programs and procedures are being implemented correctly.
  • **Quality Documentation and Reporting**: Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends, including failed processes, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
  • **Client Communication**: Correspond with clients through professional communication to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • **Quality Standards and Compliance**: Enforce plant quality standards and ensure compliance to Federal, State and local regulations, as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety requirements.
  • **Team Leadership**: Assign duties to employees, schedule break periods, work hours, and vacations, and perform periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by HR policies.
  • **Warehouse Operations**: Oversee the process of store orders to ensure the highest level of service to the customer, and assist in maintaining high quality of service by enforcing company policies and procedures.
  • **Employee Development**: Promote a positive work environment, build a strong team, and work closely with staff to ensure that quality and productivity requirements are maintained and communicated to each associate.
  • **Flexibility and Adaptability**: Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs, and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • **Strong Leadership and Organizational Skills**: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, and prioritize tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
  • **Quality Assurance Experience**: Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role, with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices.
  • **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, employees, and other stakeholders.
  • **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, and make informed decisions.
  • **Flexibility and Adaptability**: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
