Business Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at ZIRLEN TECHNOLOGIES INCORPORATED. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in gathering and documenting application and system requirements, developing test plans, performing systems testing, and coordinating user acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document application and system requirements
  • Develop test plans and perform systems testing
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing
  • Document existing systems and business processes
  • Interview users to determine functional requirements for new development and enhancement projects
  • Work with Judiciary personnel to develop test plans and coordinate testing efforts
  • Work with technical leads and developers to understand, develop, and refine project technical requirements
  • Assist in the development and refinement of systems development methodology processes and artifacts
  • Assist in tracking and reporting project status
  • Provide input to and support for the development of Project Definition documents
  • Perform data analysis in support of projects and develop database inquiries as needed
  • Coordinate use of business analysis, project requirements, test planning, tracking, and problem reporting throughout projects
  • Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and coordinate business unit review and approval of project functional requirements and test plans
  • Act as liaison with justice partners in providing accurate data exchanges and changes required by legislation or business mandates

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT)
  • Experience with court or a legal background
  • Experience with UML and other tools used to capture and document user and functional requirements
  • Experience with NIEM / JIEM data modeling
  • Experience with Requirements capture and tracking software
  • Experience with XML and SOAP protocol software
  • Experience with Odyssey Case Management System
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, end users, and vendor development staff
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse IT organization
