Job Summary

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking a highly skilled Equal Employment Specialist to join our team. As an Equal Employment Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity within the IRS. You will be responsible for developing and implementing EEO programs, providing training and guidance to employees, and investigating complaints of discrimination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EEO programs to promote a culture of inclusion and diversity within the IRS.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EEO policies and procedures.
  • Investigate complaints of discrimination and provide recommendations for resolution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with EEO laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain EEO policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in EEO, human resources, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions
  • This is a full-time position.
  • The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The selected candidate will be required to travel occasionally.
