We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paramedic to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and responding to emergency situations with professionalism and expertise.
Responsibilities:- Assess emergency situations and determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to provide critical care to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
- Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
- Drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
