About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our Geo Domain team at Apple. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and improving deep learning models to understand queries, rank documents, and find useful answers to users' questions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze search ranking and relevance requirements issues and opportunities
  • Utilize PyTorch and proprietary tools for training deep learning models
  • Understand product requirements and translate them into modeling tasks and engineering tasks
  • Build machine-learned models for query understanding and search ranking
  • Develop and maintain large-scale indexing and ML data pipelines
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in natural language processing, machine learning, or deep learning
  • Proficiency in one of the following languages: Python, Go, Java, C++
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Excellent knowledge and practical skills in major machine learning algorithms
