Position Title: Composites TechnicianKey Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively and independently to assemble composite structure details and components utilizing carbon and other composite materials.
  • Adhere to specifications from blueprints, documentation, and quality assurance standards to guarantee the prompt delivery of superior products to clients.
  • Engage in multitasking and operate multiple machines as required.
  • Execute tasks on elevated platforms up to ten feet high and in restricted spaces.
  • Employ technology such as computers, mobile devices, and digital tools proficiently.
  • Utilize hand tools for lay-up forming and contouring processes.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization within the work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Essential:
    • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and alternative schedules.
    • Completion of the WorkKeys Assessment.
    Desirable:
    • Experience in working with composite materials.
    • Proficiency in wet layup techniques, graphite handling, and using hand tools.
    • Familiarity with materials such as Kevlar, fiberglass, and epoxy-resin.
    • Knowledge of composite sanding methods.
