About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Specialist to join our team at Harbor. As a Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness of vocational program data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and monitor client, employer, and service information into identified database systems.
  • Follow guidelines for maintaining security of data and reports.
  • Track and accurately record participant payments, support services, and incentives provided to program participants.
  • Review data error reports and perform necessary follow-up to ensure data compiled in reports is accurate.
  • Run reports and initiate corrective action as necessary to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Produce, review, and monitor outcome reports and provide reports to program manager and program coordinator used in monitoring program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Test IS functions as they are developed and/or implemented.
  • Serve as a data resource for management, program, and support staff.
  • Plan, develop, and direct computer training and user manuals for staff.
  • Support staff in gaining access to all necessary County/State systems in support of vocational programming.
  • Assist with set up and provision of recruiting events as needed.
  • Attend vendor fairs in the community to increase awareness of services.
  • Ensure proper filing and storage of data entry.
  • Assist with implementation of customer satisfaction evaluation process and reporting.
  • Assist with reporting of outcomes related to county and state stakeholders.
  • Assist with developing reports as requested by program manager or director.
  • Stay current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies and demonstrate continued growth.
