Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer to become part of a distinguished undersea acoustics engineering and manufacturing firm. This organization is renowned for delivering sophisticated SONAR solutions tailored for military applications and has established a solid reputation within the sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage technical requirements and specifications, ensuring compliance and leading verification activities.
  • Create system architectures, define interfaces, model systems, and conduct algorithm development and data analysis.
  • Offer technical guidance throughout the entire development lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation.
  • Communicate progress to management and customer representatives, assist in systems integration, and engage in customer trial activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in system engineering leadership with a focus on product design.
  • Proven track record of guiding products through comprehensive development cycles and field trials.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across various functions and exceptional communication capabilities.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to secure a DoD secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with underwater acoustic positioning systems for tracking and navigation purposes.
  • Familiarity with underwater acoustic principles and electronic systems, including embedded software applications.
  • Expertise in developing computer-based models using MATLAB to support system design.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills for effective customer interactions and leadership presentations.
Compensation and Benefits:
The organization provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, paid leave, 401K contributions, and employee engagement events.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $220,000
