Senior Embedded Software Security Architect

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Security Architect to join our team at Moog. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and architecting new capabilities for our new and existing turreted weapons systems (RIwP). Your primary focus will be on eliminating and/or mitigating cyber vulnerabilities, as well as identifying opportunities to ensure the continuous robust secure operation of Moog products in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, code, debug, and integrate new capabilities for our new and existing turreted weapons systems (RIwP).
* Deliver executable software that meets performance requirements.
* Design, develop, implement, and monitor an auditable set of life cycle processes to assess, document, any/all cyber security requirements for software/embedded systems within Moog products.
* Vulnerability Analysis to identify and document potential cyber vulnerabilities including logic/coding flaws, inter-device communication weaknesses, and potential hidden or "backdoor" entry points.
* Debug issues with existing systems.
* Deliver other software work products (documentation) that meet contractual requirements.
* Provide status reporting to management during project execution.
* Gather and organize technical information from customer requirements/needs regarding cyber security including the products' mission, goals and needs.
* Perform risk assessment and analysis of embedded systems/applications within Moog products from concept through product end-of-life.
* Identify current and emerging embedded system products technology issues, including security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
* Pro-actively identify, recommend, and implement new cyber security solutions and strategies to resolve/mitigate any cyber security issues and protect Moog's embedded systems products.

Salary Range Transparency:
Santa Barbara, CA $111,000.00-$177,000.00 Annually
Salary Range Disclaimer:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
