We are seeking a Facilities Management Leader to join our team and drive quality maintenance operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and developing maintenance teams, overseeing preventative maintenance, and conducting property inspections.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance operations, leadership skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment. As a Facilities Management Leader, you will be responsible for budget management, vendor relationships, safety compliance, project management, customer service, staff hiring and training, quality assurance, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop maintenance teams to ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and conduct property inspections.
  • Assist in budget preparation, monitor costs, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Promote safety culture, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Create and manage scopes of work for capital and other projects, review bids and contracts, oversee outside contractors, and plan timelines to minimize disruption.
  • Communicate with owners, regional managers, and onsite staff to resolve maintenance issues and enhance owner and resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with onsite managers to hire and train maintenance staff to ensure skill development.
  • Maintain property quality standards through regular assessments and follow-up actions.
  • Oversee purchasing and inventory management of maintenance supplies and equipment.
