Job Description


A leading manufacturing company in the United States is seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and preparing sub-assemblies for various machines, including ellipticals, weight racks, and tension weight machines.


Responsibilities


• Assemble and prepare sub-assemblies for various machines


• Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork


• Use manual and electric pallet jacks


• Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently


• Ability to bend/twist or turn repeatedly throughout the shift


• 6 months of previous working experience required


• Preferably 6 months of previous assembly or manufacturing experience


• Ability to work with power tools or hand tools; mechanically inclined


• Good work history, even if it is not in manufacturing


• Ability to operate small air, hand, and electric tools


• Ability to read work instructions and drawings


• Effective communication skills


• Ability to accurately read a tape measure


• Good memorization skills
