About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Head Nurse-Radiology to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan. The ideal candidate will have a valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.

Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Accepts full responsibility and accountability of unit operations, including patient-centered intershift reporting and staff utilization of S BAR for handoff patient communications.">
  3. Delegates assignments based on staff competence and priority of patient care utilizing the patient classification system and follow-up.">
  4. Conducts daily environmental unit rounds using Joint Commission compliance resource tools to ensure compliance with infection Control and Safety Policies.">

Minimum Qualifications

  • ">
  • A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State;">
  • Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA);">
  • One (1) year of experience as a registered nurse.">

Compensation and Benefits

">

The estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, employees receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
