Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will be tasked with:
  • Achieving or surpassing labor standards and KPIs set for each operational sector.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and regulations established by Coty.
  • Maintaining exemplary safety performance.
  • Conducting BOSS audits as necessary.
  • Executing required 5S tasks.
  • Picking and packing orders using RF devices while striving to meet or exceed established KPI targets.
  • Performing quality assurance tasks as required by the operational sector.
  • Engaging in value-added activities as needed.
  • Handling return goods operations efficiently to meet or exceed KPI goals.
  • Assisting in resolving operational challenges as they arise.
  • Completing necessary paperwork accurately.
  • Training new team members on essential processes for each functional area.
  • Effectively interacting with all levels of the workforce, including internal and external customers.
  • Preferred Hazmat certification; ability to obtain certification is required based on work assignment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

We are interested in candidates who possess:

Knowledge
  • Fundamental knowledge and experience with PCs, including Microsoft Products, DLX, DCS, and ETQ.
  • Understanding of logistics operations, including warehousing, replenishment, product codes, picking, packing, and dock operations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of 5S principles.
Skills:
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer-related tasks.
  • Experience with automated and/or RF systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Capability to apply root-cause problem-solving techniques to address operational issues.
  • Ability to think clearly, communicate effectively, and respond in high-pressure situations.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks with challenging assignments.
  • Willingness to solicit and act on feedback from the operations team.
  • Physical ability to navigate stairs and/or crosswalks on the operations floor.
  • Potential requirement to work at heights.
Abilities:
  • Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Capacity to learn new technologies and apply them to daily tasks.
  • Self-starter mentality with innovative thinking.
  • Ability to follow directions and implement them in daily activities.

Position Details

This is a full-time role that may require mandatory overtime to meet business demands, including potential weekend shifts.

Work Environment

Employees may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations. The work environment may also include seasonal temperature variations.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Medium: Requires exertion of 21 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or 11 to 25 pounds of force frequently, or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires about 6 or more hours of intermittent standing or walking in an 8-hour workday. Sitting may be required only intermittently and occasionally. Frequent stooping is usually required.

Duration & Repetitive Standards

Constant activity or condition exists for more than 2/3 of the time, equivalent to more than 5.25 hours per workday or more than 40 minutes each hour.
