Join our team at Pilgrim's Sanford Truck Shop as a Mechanic Specialist working on the 2nd shift. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper repair and maintenance of our company-owned equipment and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use diagnostic repair tools to ensure accurate and efficient repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all company-owned equipment and vehicles
  • Repair and maintain all company-owned equipment and vehicles
  • Respond to yard and on-road call situations
  • Work safely with minimal supervision during evening hours
  • Track and maintain repair orders and issue parts to jobs correctly
  • Complete repairs in a timely manner
  • Perform other tasks as necessary to maintain a clean and efficient work area
Requirements:
  • Valid NC driver's license, CDL A preferred
  • 3 years' experience in diesel equipment repair, including road tractors, trailers, forklifts, shuttle trucks, and their operation
  • 5 years' experience preferred
  • Provide own tool set, including hand, impact, and general use tools
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. as necessary
  • Capable of safely mounting and dismounting tires using provided tools
