Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood and urine samples
- Perform venipuncture and other medical procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
- Proficiency in blood/lab draws and venipuncture
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software
- BLS certification and medical assistant certification or diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- 1+ year of experience with Epic EMR system
- 1+ year of experience in an outpatient clinic setting
- 2+ years of experience in a neurology setting
- Competitive hourly rate of $24.00
- Full-time, contract position with 40 hours per week
