Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Resurgens Orthopaedics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic care and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complete physical exams, pre-operative and post-operative evaluations, and record findings.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, establish a diagnosis, and determine a treatment plan.
- Implement necessary ancillaries, order additional studies or laboratory evaluations, and consult with specialists as needed.
- Assist in reduction of fractures and dislocations, provide minor office surgical care, and apply and remove casts, splints, and immobilizing devices.
- Administer injections, immunizations, oral medications, and other clinic procedures.
- Prepare written prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances and authorize prescription refills.
- Assist physicians in the application of specialized orthopedic devices, fit and measure for braces and orthopedic devices, and instruct patients on proper use.
- Record patient progress notes, transcribe orders, and provide monitoring and continuity of care.
- Perform independent evaluations and treatment procedures in emergency situations.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current and active licenses and certifications.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrated conflict management skills, and strong organizational skills.
- Operating room experience preferred.
