Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lead Preschool Educator to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Preschool Educator, you will be responsible for creating and leading a model classroom that embodies the principles of authentic Montessori education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with Montessori principles and standards
  • Lead a team of educators in creating a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues in their professional development
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in Montessori education

Requirements:

  • Montessori Diploma/Certificate for the 3-63 age group
  • 90 clock hours of approved pre-service training, including 45 hours of child growth and development and 45 hours of curriculum
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Experience working with the 3-6 age group
  • Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
