Job Overview

The Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of machinery at the terminal. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits of equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Prepare parts requisitions for necessary repairs.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement corrective measures.
  • Provide recommendations to mitigate equipment failures.
  • Disassemble and reassemble components and major assemblies as needed.
  • Work on systems including powertrains, electrical systems, HVAC, and hydraulics.
  • Adjust and align equipment components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test equipment functionality through operational checks and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 18 years.
