About the Opportunity

Saratech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Stress Engineer to join our Engineering Services/Design team. As a key member of our team, you will assist with various support duties such as CAD modeling, part model check reviews, industry standard parts specifications, and project planning. You will also have the opportunity to grow your professional network and contribute to the Saratech engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stress and fatigue analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure using classical and finite element analysis methods.
  • Support drawing release of airframe details, installations, and assemblies.
  • Develop structural analysis documentation in support of certification efforts.
  • Support manufacturing MRB activities.
  • Interface with suppliers, customers, and colleagues for briefings on technical work content.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years stress analysis experience with primary and secondary airframe structure.
  • Proficient in NASTRAN and FEMAP or PATRAN.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good oral, written, and presentation skills.
Additional Information
  • Physical demands: Follow detailed complex directions, reason and problem solve.
  • The person will frequently communicate and converse with other staff. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
