We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Technician to join our team at LMR Technical Group. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for providing support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and verification of contracts and associated documentation to prepare a complete contract package.
- Validate receipt of requested items by reviewing packing slips.
- Enter data into automated tracking and reporting systems.
- Maintain invoice reporting logs.
- Resolve invoice problems in coordination with the purchasing agent or contracting officers.
- Deliverables
- Work products and documents related to maintaining purchase card files, collecting invoices, obtaining receiving, following up on issues and/or problems.
- Work products and documents related to providing excellent customer service.
- Work products and documents related to providing assistance in file clean-up and stale logs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree.
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
- Experience with Federal acquisition and purchasing systems.
- Experience with deliverable review and acceptance, invoice management, and tracking and reconciliation.
- Ability to provide timely, professional customer service through communications that are clear, concise, correct, and positive in tone.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
