ROLE SUMMARY:
Engage in the assembly and installation of truck bodies, supporting the production and assembly of various components while actively participating as a team member.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Assemble or install various truck body components
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand, air, and power tools
- Maintain attention to detail and ensure high-quality work
- Collaborate effectively with team members, learning and rotating through different workstations
- Adhere to quality, quantity, performance, and safety standards
- Procure necessary supplies and parts for tasks
- Assist colleagues during non-assembly periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Contribute to 5S initiatives and Lean Principles implementation
Qualifications for Success:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in automotive, RV, or boat sectors is preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including using ladders, entering and exiting trucks, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Proficient in using air and electric powered tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and rivet guns
- Capable of reading and comprehending work orders, directions, and safety regulations
