Job Title: Financial Accounting Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Manager to join our team at Hard Rock International. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the monthly financial closing process, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations, and review and documentation of systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to strengthen or streamline current practices.
  • Prepare and/or assist with journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Audit various functions in Finance and other departments, ensuring compliance with Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Gather and maintain information to assist with Quarterly and Yearly Audits for Internal and External auditors.
  • Develop and maintain financial and operating metrics for use by management in decision making.
  • Ensure departmental goals and performance measures are understood and achieved by managers.
  • Provide support for centralized functions associated with the respective business enterprise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and three (3) years of accounting experience in a similar capacity required or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience in a similar volume environment also required.
  • Casino, entertainment, and/or Hotel experience highly preferred.
  • Must have at least three (3) years of experience with computerized accounting systems and be proficient in MS Excel software.
