About the Role

The Sr. Director of Food & Nutrition Services is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a team of employees, building strong relationships with clients, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the department within approved budget parameters, ensuring maximum value for clients
  • Ensure the quality of food served to patients is exceptional
  • Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
  • Maintain excellent relationships with patients, faculty, guests, and clients
  • Promote the professional growth and development of the team
  • Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise
  • Experience working in an acute care hospital food service operation required
  • Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience desirable
  • ServSafe certification a plus
