We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Christus Health. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in coordinating and performing diagnostic medical imaging procedures for our Department of Ultrasound.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and perform diagnostic medical imaging procedures for the Department of Ultrasound
- Assist the Radiologist in utilizing a variety of diagnostic ultrasound equipment, both fixed and mobile
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound technology and its applications
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in ultrasound technology
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiological Sciences, Ultrasound Technology, or other accepted and approved equivalent
- One year of experience in a clinical ultrasound setting is preferred
- Registration by the credentialing bodies for Ultrasound Technologists is required (ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT)
- BLS certification is required
