Key Responsibilities

Equipment Management


• Ensure precise and prompt setup, operation, and dismantling of audiovisual equipment as specified in the technical requirements.


• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges swiftly as they occur.


• Adhere to all security and safety protocols established by the company.


• Safeguard equipment against theft and damage during usage.

Client Engagement


• Deliver outstanding service and aim to surpass the expectations of both internal and external clients.


• Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication.


• Conduct on-site meetings with clients to ensure their requirements are fulfilled and that equipment setups are functioning correctly.


• Monitor events and maintain communication with clients throughout the duration of the event.


• Cultivate and maintain the relationship between the hotel and the client.

Team Development


• Assist in training technicians on all operational activities and service expectations.


• Act as a mentor for new team members.


• Promote a positive work environment aligned with company values.

Operational Oversight


• Organize daily activities to ensure timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.


• Manage daily operations by directing technician workflows and assisting with staffing and scheduling needs.


• Ensure that equipment logs are accurately maintained and updated.


• Collaborate with the team to establish effective communication for event management.


• Attend venue meetings as necessary.

Equipment Care


• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains in excellent working condition.


• Lead the team in securing, storing, transporting, and maintaining equipment.


• Participate in inventory counts as required.

Qualifications


• A bachelor's degree is preferred.


• 3-5 years of experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.


• 3-5 years of audiovisual experience is required.


• Internal candidates must hold Technical 1-Star Certification prior to application. External candidates will need to obtain their Technical 1-Star Certification within 60 days of employment.


• Strong understanding of technical principles.


• Advanced problem-solving abilities.


• Experience in leading teams and managing workflows.


• A valid driver's license is required for positions involving company vehicle operation.


• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The role is performed in a hotel/convention center setting with varying exposure to outdoor elements and dust. Working conditions may range from moderately quiet to noisy. Team members will utilize high-end audiovisual equipment and may work at various hotel locations, with schedules that include irregular hours and on-call duties.

Physical Requirements

Team members must meet specified physical criteria to effectively perform essential job functions, including lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling various weights as outlined in the job description.
