Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Cardiac Diagnostics Procedures within our Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Cardiac Diagnostics Procedures course to students
  • Prepare and deliver learning activities to achieve course outcomes
  • Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts
  • Evaluate and grade student work, including class assignments, laboratory work, and exams
  • Maintain student attendance records and submit grades and other required documentation by specified deadlines
  • Be available for student coaching and meetings with supervisors and division staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Current certification as a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or Certified EKG Technician (CET)
  • Minimum of one year of full-time EKG-related experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Sensitivity to diverse populations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Clinical or didactic teaching experience

This is a part-time adjunct faculty position. Adjunct faculty positions are ongoing pooled positions, and your materials will remain on file and be reviewed as needed. To be considered for this position, you must upload an unofficial transcript and license/certifications.
