Nursing Instructor

Bryant & Stratton College is seeking qualified Nursing instructors to join our team in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach clinical and theory classes in various areas, including Fundamentals, Pharmacology, Medical/Surgical, Pediatrics, Mental Health, and Lifespan Development courses.
• Provide regular skills assistance and tutoring to students.
• Attend mandatory meetings and collaborate with nursing faculty to develop and evaluate course curriculum, learning support, and assessments.
• Implement and evaluate strategies for improved student retention and success.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through continuous professional development and complete a teaching portfolio.
• Participate in campus committees and events.
• Be available to teach day, evening, and/or weekend classes at any campus in the market.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing and Ohio RN license required.
• Doctorate degree preferred.
• Successful teaching experience in higher education preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' clinical experience in the field required.
• Working knowledge of computer software, including email and Microsoft Word.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and student success.
• Strong team player.
