Job Description

An employer is seeking a Technical Product Owner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in SRE and DevOps practices, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for researching policies and standards, defining them, and implementing strategies to reduce P1 incidents and NTTR. They will also work closely with architects to prioritize and implement strategies, and participate in agile ceremonies to raise the bar of the team.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the technology stack and be seen as the team's SME for technical expertise. They will also support industry standards, regulatory compliance, and customer business requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with architects to prioritize and implement strategies
  • Seek direct end user feedback to identify and define policies and standards
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and help raise the bar of the team
  • Provide clear direction to engineers
  • Understand the technology stack inside out
  • Support industry standards, regulatory compliance, and customer business requirements
  • Stay current with industry trends and how they might impact tools, training, and support of existing and potential customers
  • Work cross-functionally with business teams to help resolve pain points and reduce manual work
  • Continuously improve the product features and performance
