About the Role:

The IT Administrator at Carroll College is responsible for supporting and maintaining the college's IT infrastructure, including network hardware, software, and security systems. This role requires a strong understanding of network administration, security protocols, and IT best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain Carroll College's IT infrastructure, including network hardware, software, and security systems.
  • Participate in troubleshooting complex issues and provide effective solutions that adhere to Carroll College standards.
  • Interact with other IT staff, faculty, operational staff, and students to assist in resolving IT-related issues.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3 years of related experience in network administration and associated network hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Servers, Linux servers, and ability to interpret and apply industry best practices, including network monitoring, network management, and network security, is preferred.
