About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtualization Engineer Hosting to join our team at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining virtualization infrastructures for large enterprises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy virtualization solutions to meet business requirements
  • Manage and maintain virtualization infrastructure, including virtual machines, templates, and snapshots
  • Configure and manage high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot virtualization infrastructure issues
  • Develop and implement security hardening standards based on best practices
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest VMware technologies and features
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 years' experience in IT/OT, with a focus on virtualization and cloud infrastructure
  • Knowledge of VMware ESX and related technologies
  • Experience with converged infrastructure systems, such as Cisco UCS
  • Proficiency in VMware-associated programs and coding languages, such as Windows Server, MS IIS, SAN architecture, WebSphere, Citrix, Python, and C++

Takeda Pharmaceuticals offers a competitive salary range of $67,000 to $106,700, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match.
