Job Summary

DKMRBH Inc is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support
    • Provide technical support to internal stakeholders, responding to Tier 1-3 support requests and resolving issues in a timely manner.
    • Communicate effectively with teammates and customers of varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Infrastructure Management
    • Configure and deploy new/replacement network equipment and workstations.
    • Maintain up-to-date project and architecture documentation.
    • Monitor system resources for server/network anomalies.
  • Provisioning and Installation
    • Effective provisioning, installation, and configuration of computer hardware, software, and related infrastructure, including network equipment.
    • Install new or configure existing hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc., in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
  • Operations and Maintenance
    • Perform daily system monitoring to ensure the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
    • Review system and application logs and verify the completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
    • Perform regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions.
  • Support and Troubleshooting
    • Create, change, and delete user accounts as requested.
    • Provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies.
    • Investigate and troubleshoot issues, diagnose and recover from hardware or software failures.
  • System Upgrades and Configuration
    • Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
    • Configure/add new services as necessary.
    • Upgrade and configure system software that supports GIS infrastructure or Asset Management applications as needed.
  • Performance and Optimization
    • Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
    • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
    • Conduct ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in the field or related subject matter area.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of computer hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
