Job Summary

The Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist will be an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, responsible for designing, evaluating, and implementing exercise programs for patients undergoing cardiac rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs and goals
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient fitness levels and progress
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on exercise techniques and healthy lifestyle habits
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology from an accredited institution
  • Up to one year of experience in a rehabilitation setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and cardiac rehabilitation principles
  • Certification in Advanced Life Support
