Maintenance Assistant - Residential Care

The Maintenance Assistant is a vital member of our team, responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and appearance of our senior living community. This role involves assisting the Maintenance Director with various tasks, including completing work orders, maintaining equipment, and conducting daily inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete work orders as requested by the Maintenance Director
  • Assist with maintenance of all areas of the community, including grounds, fences, and equipment
  • Conduct daily inspections of building, grounds, and equipment
  • Promote safety of residents, visitors, and associates by identifying and resolving potential hazards
Requirements:
  • 6 months of work experience in a position handling residential maintenance items
  • Experience working with sheet rock, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and other general building maintenance
  • Thorough understanding of building and fire safety
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and high attention to detail
