Every member of our organization plays a crucial role in achieving these objectives. School-based staff will focus on 2 or 3 metrics aligned with their roles and the overarching goals. As a Lead Teacher, you will be accountable for specific goals related to your position.

Role Purpose:

To ensure that all students and schools achieve our primary objectives, RMP educators exemplify a culture of rigor and compassion by employing data-driven strategies to enhance student learning and cultivate meaningful relationships within the classroom. Through teamwork, collaboration, and constructive feedback, RMP teachers create a culturally responsive classroom environment that promotes significant academic growth while maintaining high attendance rates and fostering student retention each academic year. RMP equips teachers with a robust curriculum that they can implement using the unique skills they have developed throughout their careers.

In this position, you will:

  • Utilize our high-quality curriculum and data systems to drive exceptional student growth and proficiency while proactively gathering data on student performance
  • Regularly collect, input, and analyze academic data to provide targeted instruction and interventions that foster a culture of learning
  • Establish a strong classroom environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive through consistent routines, structures, and both proactive and restorative practices
  • Foster a supportive and healthy working atmosphere for colleagues, prioritizing student needs

Qualifications:

Required:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in any field
  • Completion of relevant training in educational practices
  • Successful completion of a background check
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Must possess one or more of the following:

  • Current teaching license in Colorado with an elementary education endorsement
  • Passing scores on the elementary PRAXIS examination
  • Official transcript indicating a degree in elementary education
  • 36 credit hours in elementary education coursework

Preferred:

  • A minimum of two years of lead teaching experience, defined as the primary educator responsible for all academic content in the classroom
  • Experience in progress monitoring, data collection, and analysis
