Taqueria Manager Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Taqueria Manager to join our team at Vallarta Supermarkets. As a Taqueria Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Taqueria Department and ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Department Leadership: Lead and manage the Taqueria Department, including supervising staff and ensuring that all team members are trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Taqueria Department, including inventory management, ordering, and controlling inventory to minimize out-of-stock and overstock situations.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the Taqueria Department is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all products are stored and displayed in a manner that is visually appealing and easy to access.
  • Team Development: Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in a taqueria or restaurant environment, or 1 year of experience in a management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.
