Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Trailer Technician to join our team at C&S Wholesale Grocers Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing core elements of fleet maintenance, primarily with Trailer chassis assets, but will also include exposure to other fleet assets within the operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and troubleshoot preventative maintenance and repairs on Trailer chassis assets and other fleet assets.
  • Effectively complete work orders and support shop projects to optimize asset up-time and productivity.
  • Work safely and embody the safety culture and atmosphere.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of mechanical experience and understanding of principles of Internal Combustion Engines.
  • ASE certifications and base understanding of mechanical principles.
  • Proficiency in PM & troubleshooting of all lift-gate types.
  • Heavy lifting involved, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc. 8 hours of contiguous standing, squatting and twisting at times.
Work Environment

The Warehouse environment will include exposure to various temperatures, including 50F to 90F, -20F to 0F, and 28F to 60F.
