Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Privia Health, a leading healthcare organization dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to our patients, working closely with our team of physicians and advanced practice providers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide well-woman care, including routine examinations and follow-ups, to ensure optimal health and wellness for our patients.
  • Perform IUD and Nexplanon placements, as well as other procedures, to address the unique needs of our patients.
  • Manage patient relationships with a focus on compassionate care, empathy, and exceptional communication skills.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations, maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality and data security.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for building strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
  • Excellent clinical skills, with a focus on staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices.
  • State licensure and board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
