Mercy Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Unit on a part-time weekend shift. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including those with GI, Oncology, UTI, Dehydration, Pneumonia, COPD, Wounds, and Post-Op care needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by promoting teamwork, accountability, and open communication.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Other unit-specific certifications as required or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
