Position Overview:

This position is integral to the administration of post-award processes, ensuring that all financial activities align with institutional and sponsor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive fiscal analyses for grant proposals, subcontracts, and industry-sponsored projects, collaborating closely with faculty and stakeholders.
2. Establish and maintain effective communication with internal and external research administration officials.
3. Oversee post-award grant management, providing ongoing financial reports to faculty members.
4. Act as a liaison between faculty and sponsors, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and timely submission of necessary documentation.
5. Manage special agreements related to sponsored activities, including billing arrangements and service charges.
6. Supervise and review sponsored research project accounts, ensuring accurate forecasting and reconciliation of charges.
7. Administer the salary billing process, monitoring effort compliance and adherence to sponsor policies.
8. Collaborate with faculty to prepare annual budget projections and generate high-level reports for administrative review.
9. Provide oversight and mentorship to grant and contract specialists and financial assistants.
10. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, coupled with 5 to 7 years of experience in grant administration within a non-profit setting. Proficiency in financial systems and tools, particularly in Excel for advanced reporting. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
