Resident Assistant Job Description

At Ecumen of Litchfield, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and delegated health-related services to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
  • Administer medications as delegated by the Clinical Director/Manager
  • Document changes in resident condition and report to the Clinical Director/Manager
  • Support residents in maintaining their independence and promoting self-help skills
  • Participate in resident activities and lead cleaning tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • 17 years of age or older
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to follow safety rules, regulations, and policies
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working with seniors an asset
